Yesterday Today Tomorrow - Again

Many of us have heard about the saying:
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift.
That's why it is called the present!

The past cannot be changed. Do not dwell too long in it but use it as a yardstick to improve. Mistakes made are lessons learnt. After all, we still can make the best use of today's gift to improve the future.

Like this flower that changes from a dark purple to white, it would be great if people could also change from 'darkness' to pure white in heart, soul and mind as they age.

A reminder about how to live my life.

  1. Some flowers strikingly exhibit colour change... We undergo similar phase in a way ... Dark hair turning grey..... as a sign that blooming time is about to end... Hmmm..

    Happy Gardening.

The good thing is that we get wiser as we grow older, I guess. Thanks for dropping by.

  5. Hi AutumnBelle, what a lovely post! That's the thought-process I wanted to convey when I named my blog!! I wanted to remember that the 'present' is a gift...and be thankful for Today (the present). Anyway, it's not always easy to do! But, at least we 'try' and are aware. We can bring ourselves back into that awareness when we stray. Have a wonderful day;-) Jan
