ReplyDeleteVery beautiful flowers! :)
ReplyDeleteHermosa planta y el color es fascinante.
ReplyDeleteHasta pronto, un abrazo.
I haven't seen the multipetalled type, but i love even just the single pelalled. However, those i found are very susceptible to aphids, more than the ordinary native hibiscus.
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous. I love the doubles and the color is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThis one no need to tell can 'see' its purple my favorite color hahaha. Phew nowadays there are so much different colors.
ReplyDeleteLovely blooms to share for Fertilizer Friday. The colors are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, and it's interesting to see what it looks like when it's finished blooming, too. My in-laws used to have Rose of Sharon on their lot. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh, how lovely! I like the both types!
ReplyDeleteHi AB, is the rose of sharon plant easily available? Haven't noticed them in the local garden nurseries. Would appreciate it if you let me know where I can get a plant in the Klang valley area. That photo of the double is great. You've got my attention.
ReplyDeleteRosie

ReplyDeleteLG: Karin
I love your purple hibiscus, a colour that is not often seen in this plant.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! :)
ReplyDeletePretty Purple Flower. Such a pleasure to look at it.
ReplyDeletecolor is so beautiful and so are the flowers and pics..lovely!
ReplyDeleteThere are other colours of Rose of Sharon but I like the purple colour most, both the single and double petal flower varieties. The single flowers ones have a large and fat pistil which is so lovely.
ReplyDeleteAndrea is right. In Malaysia, the plant is susceptible to aphids and it is difficult to make them bloom repeatedly.
Rosie, I have not seen this plant for sale at our local nursery yet. Perhaps you need to get a cutting from a friend. Hence, if we see them for sale at nurseries, we should immediately get one.
I love Hibiscus flowers. One kind is hardy over here but the more showy ones are not.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have one of this. So lovely. Rose of Sharon - its made popular from the bible.
