  1. Autumn Belle,
Since I rarely see water lilies, these are such a treat! Thanks for posting, the last time I saw one was on a hike in Estes Park, Co and they were yellow. I love these white blossoms! So pretty.

  3. I really didn't know this waterlily can survive in Malaysia. As I often noticed they often slowly die and rot away but here its thriving. Thanks for sharing this picture.
-Its beautiful and wild looking - must be very rare.

  8. Simply beautiful. We have plenty of water but sadly no magnificent lilies. Your bananas also made me smile. I need to buy some to help ripen my green tomatoes but may now be tempted to some cookery. I can feel banana bread coming on!

  9. Sandy, Digital Flower Pictures, Joanne, Nurse mommy, John and Re. Welcome to my blog and thank you very much for the visit and nice comments.

Rosey, Tatyana, James, this is also my first time seeing such a rare water lily. I am thankful to the people at 1-Utama who made this possible for us all to experience and learn about this amazing plant.

Stephanie, the water lilies are blooming now, and better go in the late afternoon because that’s the time the flowers start to open. To reach the water lily pond, you need to walk across the small road to the open air area if you are coming from the rainforest area.

Yan, oh, banana can be used to ripen green tomatoes. Welcome to my blog and thanks for the info.
