Not growing Hibiscus but I wish I was! What a splendid bush to grow in a garden.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful hibiscus! I have never seen it before and, unfortunately, cannot grow it here. Thanks for sharing your photos. I love to see plants from around the world.
ReplyDeleteI like hibiscus. Haven't seen this one before. The petals are unusually sharp. At the moment, I only have the one at the top of your blog; lots of petals but red in coulour.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all the hibiscus in bloom now - They're total showstoppers from the road!
ReplyDeleteI like the muted color on the one you've shown and the petals look like paper cut outs fanned out!
This yellow hibiscus is really pretty! The leaves are curved into lovely heart shape! Huge shrub too.
ReplyDeleteNever seen them before!
Very pretty flower and such a lovely shade of yellow Autumn.
ReplyDeleteNice pictures Autumn Belle. In the first flower picture, I am having a child imagination when you blow at it, it will twirl like a fan blade. I cannot recall the name.
ReplyDeleteLovely flower. I have seen a similar one in colour which is a wild plant.
ReplyDeleteDear Autumn Belle, In answer to your question, no, I have never seen this particular Hibiscus before. Perfectly lovely.
ReplyDeleteI have seen this one before. Too big for my garden.
ReplyDeleteInteresting name - Sea hibiscus.
Beautiful hibiscus! Love the rich yellow colour and the massive bush!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen this hibiscus before. Very pretty flowers!
ReplyDeleteNope AutumnBelle - I've not seen this one before. We probably have them growing at our Botanic gardens in large greenhouses. The petals really do have a different shape overlapping like that with that lovely chocolate brown centre.
ReplyDeleteWow...a very pretty flower.
ReplyDeleteI have one. Made the first flower, just as the old camera died on me. I am waiting impatiently for the plant to try again!
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful. They are in bloom all over now and such a joy to see. These colors are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a flower like that, thank you for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me on blotanical. Your sea hibiscus are really nice. I love that color.
ReplyDeleteHi, everyone! Thank you very much for the visit and nice comments. I think this sea hibiscus looks like a wind propeller toy that we used to play as a child. It also looks like the cream yellow okra flowers, also from the same family of Malvaceae.
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous is this beauty (great photo)!
ReplyDeleteHi Autumn Belle, i've been out for awhile, was with the Backpack Photography group for 5 days and then to the hospital for another 5 days for my nephew and niece.
ReplyDeleteThese plants are growing wildly in the shores of Batanes, i didn't know some people plant it in gardens. I thought it looks like hibiscus, now i learned its full name.
Whenever I see Hibiscus they always make me happy, such a spectacular flower, and so are your photos. Thank you for stopping by my blog, very much appreciated.

I love Hibiscus along with Orchids and other Tropical plants! Beautiful photograph. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour flower is a stunner! Gorgeous shots. God bless.
ReplyDeleteThis flower looks very similar to your Okra, which you posted last year.
ReplyDeleteAnother first for me! Beautiful and unique for a Hibiscus bloom...reminds me of the blades of my kitchen exhaust fan but of course, that has no beauty at all in comparison!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely hibiscus you have. The petals are really unique with its shape. I wished that my hibiscus flowers are gorgeous like yours. They don’t get bigger like yours and I don’t know why.
ReplyDeleteI never have seen a Hibiscus tilaceus like this before. The petals are perfect and unique. I want to grow Hibiscus tilaceus like that in my garden. I just hope that it will grow as gorgeous and as healthy as yours.
ReplyDeleteHi there, was wondering where I can get the hibiscus tiliaceus seeds in malaysia? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYvonne, I have no idea at the moment. I will post this in my facebook page and hopefully someone will reply.
