Genting Highlands Flowers (Part 2) - Wordless Wednesday

I would like to dedicate this post to Rainfield61, from the beautiful state of Penang, Malaysia of My Journey blog, the first commenter of my previous "Chin Swee Temple, Genting Highlands - Part 1 " post.   13. Its always so wierd to see plants that can't take the heat here in florida actually thriving in southeast asia! It seems like you get to grow a variety around there. High elevation?

    I have updated my post with the names of the flowers. It's my own deduction, so do correct me if I am wrong.

    The bromeliad in the third picture is an auspicious plant to have. In Chinese, Hokkien dialect, we call it the 'ong lai' flower meaning 'good fortune is coming'.
    Do you think it also looks like a familiar organ in the human anatomy?
