Zephyr Lily
(Zephyranthes Candida)

Yesterday, July 1st, was a double happiness day for me.
Another lily has opened its bud and now two of my favourite lilies are in bloom.

Ants love my lilies and I agree with them. Lilies are sweet, aren't they?
Here's a closeup of my little angel, pure and white.

And now, the two of them will pose for my mid-morning photography session.
Pink fairy is still around. Welcome white angel.
It has never happened before.
The moment I've been waiting for.
A brief moment in time.
Something so beautiful and sublime.
Yes! Welcome white angel. She is really pretty. These lilies never fail to cheer me up. They really look best after a rain and when the sky is sunny again, the flowers just pop up :-)
ReplyDeleteSo six petals to a flower is about standard for zephyr lilies... My pink flowers are more rounded that yours. Interesting how flowers differ a bit a couple of miles away... haha.

Hi, Stephanie, Bangchik and Kakdah. Thanks for dropping by.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are exquisite. We have alot of Hibiscus in Jamaica, the hybrids, I believe are the most beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautyinLife, yes hibiscus are very beautiful and in so many colours too.
